OH Office Days Road Office offered the opportunity to turn our design values inward and create a workplace that reflects the way we think, collaborate and work.

Situated on a compact 200-square-metre commercial site, the project was tasked with accommodating a growing practice while contributing positively to a streetscape defined by traditional Queenslanders.

The building draws on familiar local materials and forms — timber, corrugated metal and a natural palette — but reinterprets them through a distinctly contemporary lens. A flat vertical façade stands in deliberate contrast to the surrounding pitched roofs, creating a strong civic presence within a predominantly residential context.

Inside, the office became an exploration of the ideas we often bring to residential projects. Rich colour, natural stone, stainless steel and carefully detailed joinery create a workplace that feels both robust and inviting. Open collaborative spaces are balanced with quieter areas for focused work, supporting the different rhythms of studio life.

More than a workplace, OH Office is a built expression of the studio's approach to architecture + interior design — thoughtful, contextual and unafraid of personality. It gives physical form to the ideas, materials and conversations that shape our work every day.
